All dynamic aspects of this site are username and password protected to ensure tight security. They are entirely back-end generated and cannot be accessed by visitors. The changes that you make will take effect instantly. Please refresh the page to view the changes.

Subscribe to Newsletter

Function:	This program allows visitors to subscribe to a newsletter. It stores their email addresses in a database, and allows the administrator to add/remove addresses from that database. In addition, the administrator can send an email or newsletter to everyone on the subscription list. It shows a preview of email being sent before it sends it. It also sends an email notification to the administrator that the newsletter has been sent to all subscribers.

Comments:	Visitors cannot unsubscribe themselves. If the administrator receives an email with "Unsubscribe Me" in the subject, the administrator should delete that email address from the database immediately. (This can be done by clicking the View all Subscribers button, and checking off which name(s) are to be deleted)

Press Room

Function:

This program allows the administrator to post recent articles about Primary Prevention's Preventive Health Centre or related articles of interest. The administrator may submit/edit/remove an article at any time. The program allows for a square picture of set dimensions (128 pixels by 128 pixels) to be uploaded and used in the article (a thumbnail image is created automatically). The Press Room program will show three of the most recent articles and will archive all those remaining. Archives can be viewed by visitors and the administrator through the link at the bottom of the Press Room page.

Comments:

The snippet is a short sentence, describing what the article is about.

When pasting the text of the article, please remember to add the tag <p> at the end of every paragraph. That would be the equivalent of pressing Enter and will ensure that a new paragraph starts on a new line.

Both the thumbnail image and the title of the article are links to the full article.

Bulletin Board

Function:

This program allows visitors to communicate with each other, show support or ask questions.

As a moderator you should be checking the bulletin board frequently for new postings and should respond to any of the comments or questions posed by visitors within 24 hours.

All postings can be viewed by the public, however, you can choose to send a private message to any of the members currently registered.

When you Login the program will recognize your role as a moderator and assign you the appropriate rights.

Comments:

Since the bulletin board is the most interactive part of your site, responding immediately and informatively will keep your visitors coming back.

It is important to show your visitors that you take an active interest in the site by checking the bulletin board and your emails daily.

Contact Us Form

Function:

This program allows visitors and clients to communicate with you. When they fill out and submit the Contact Us form, any fields which are filled in will be emailed to you instantly. This is a valuable way to learn more about those interested in your services. When all required fields are filled out correctly and the email address provided is valid, users will be redirected to a customized Thank You page.

Comments:

It is extremely important to check your business email on a daily basis and ensure that you respond in a timely and courteous fashion.

All emails from this form will have the following subject.
Subject:Primary Prevention Client Feedback Form.

The word "Submit", at the bottom of the email, just means that the form was submitted.

Tell A Friend

Function:	This program invites satisfied visitors to refer your site to up to three friends. A personalized email will be sent to all the friends specified. The email includes a link to the site, full contact information and an option for the visitor to add their own message.

Comments:	All referals are logged, and can be a great tool for building an email database of potential clients.

Are You Healthy? - Survey

Function:

This personalized online survey returns appropriate responses to visitors, based on the answers they provide. It serves as an anonymous self test, where visitors can find out how healthy they really are. This program will email you the results of those clients who express an interest in a free consultation, so that you can better understand their health concerns (and follow up with them). The visitors will then be redirected to the Contact Us page so that they can complete the necessary contact information.

All emails from this form will have the following subject.
Subject:Primary Prevention Are You Healthy?

Since this survey only requires a visitor's first name, you may wish to compare the emails you get from this survey with the Contact Us emails, to see if there are any identical first names. If there are identical first names, there is a possibility that both emails were submitted by the same person.

Are You Ready to Lose Weight?

Function:	This is a six section, multiple choice, online - self test. The program will generate appropriate responses for each section based on the visitor's answers. As the visitor completes each section, s/he is automatically redirected to the next section. After the last section, the visitor goes to the Contact Us page.
